We regularly hold Belgian Beer Tastings at the Dove Freehouse and Kitchen and The Dovetail. These events are very popular and book up quickly, so you are advised to either sign up for the Dove Club and you will recieve advance event information and benefit from priority.booking. Otherwise look out for information in our bars, or the notice board section on this website. We do not charge for these events, however, we do ask you to make a donation to a charity of our choice.

Why not let us organise your own private beer tasting. Tastings can be tailored to your budget. We supply canapés for when you arrive along with a selection of food to compliment the types of beer supplied during the tasting.

Your host will speak informally about the different types of beer, brewing processes, histories of the very many breweries and Belgian beer culture. The host will answer questions after the tasting.

The tasting generally lasts around 1 ½ - 2 hours though this can be varied to suit your requirements.

The event if very relaxed informal and great fun. Why not learn while you drink?
